This product is designed for performance clutches (PRO, SCORPION, etc) that have a stiffer clutch springer and reduced travelto engage the clutch.
If wanting to use on a OEM finger style clutch hub, shortening of the clutch release arm IS required to gain correct leverage for the soft, low tension and long travel stock springs.
